Together with our Mendocino Works partners, we will contribute to the self-sufficiency and long-term success of those we serve through our organization. We will act as a catalyst for continuous improvement in the economy of Mendocino County, for both its businesses and the people who comprise its workforce. In doing this work, we will enhance the future of our organization as well as the quality of life in our community.
Since 1992,
has provided employment, training and community resource services to job seekers and employers of Mendocino County.

JOB FAIR on May 17, 2012 from 10:00am to 2:00pm
The Mendocino Private Industry Council, Inc. (MPIC) has partnered with the City of Ukiah to host a JOB FAIR on May 17, 2012 at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center. Over 30 employers are expected to participate. Job Seekers are encouraged to register in the Mendocino Works Virtual One-Stop System at www.mendocinoworks.com to update their resumes and obtain career tips and job market information. Come dressed for success and be prepared to meet with employers looking to hire.
With the Summer Season around the corner, job demand is on the rise. After a long slump in our local economy it seems that things are beginning to pick up again and many employers are calling MPIC looking for qualified workers in a variety of industries. MPIC Business Services Representatives, Ann Beauchamp and Stacey Caico feel that the time is right to host a job fair in Ukiah. The City of Ukiah is providing the Conference Center for this event along with their vote of confidence in our local economy. The Mendocino County Workforce Investment Board (Mendo WIB), and EDD are also co-sponsoring this event.
