MPIC has been providing job seekers with the tools they need to find employment since 1992. We have an average of 1300 job seekers a month utilizing the Career Center's in Lake, Mendocino and Napa Counties. MPIC, has been the One-Stop provider and the provider for the WIOA Adult, Dislocated Worker and Youth programs for 29 years in Ukiah,  and 20 years in Ft. Bragg and Willits. MPIC staff provided WIOA services in the Lakeport AJCC for 9 years and for 4 years in Clearlake.  

MPIC workshops and orientations are in CalJOBS and are open to and geared toward all interested customers regardless of which agencies they may be working with or program they may be interested in.  MPIC is dedicated to serving the needs of the community and not just MPIC customers.

Looking Back We have been working on the local WIOA grant for many years. Recently that grant has been acquired by another company. We wish them all the best with this grant. Who are we? - Mendocino Private Industry Council is private non-profit providing workforce services to veterans and their spouses in Lake, Mendocino, and Napa counties. MPIC, Inc has been in service since 1997 and we are looking forward to celebrating our 30th year here in a few months!

Moving Forward. We are excited to start focusing on Veterans and their Spouses with a grant called VEAP. Veteran Employment-related Assistance Program. This program allows us to assist the veterans and their spouses in Lake, Mendocino, and Napa counties with services ranging from education to employment and anything in between to help you become sustainably employed and fully educated. The only cost for this program is your commitment to success. With an amazing team to guide you along the way, you are sure to succeed. Assistance ranges from helping compile a resume to be proud of, tuition assistance for training programs including but not limited to CNA, CMA, Class A Truck Driver, Welder, or anything you can show has a labor market in our area.
